PAID Togo provides the answer to “those left behind” !

Development instruments, especially developing African countries, need them to enable their populations to participate effectively in the production of wealth. It is therefore this important need that the NGO PAID (Support Program for Development Initiatives) International is responding to, which launched the activities of its Togolese branch this Thursday, April 25, 2024 in Lomé.

For this official launch, a delegation led by the president of the PAID International Management Committee, Léopold Eyenga, stayed in Lomé, where it came to provide essential training to the new structure, to better respond to the requests of the populations of Togo.

In the words of the president of the PAID International Management Committee, they want to participate in the development of Africa. “We are in Togo to bring to the populations what PAID has up its sleeve. The PAID has identification, training, supervision, financing for those who need it, and finally, monitoring and evaluation. We bring to the Togolese populations, those left behind, something to try to bring them out of the informal and into the formal,” he indicated. If they are aware that other NGOs are on the ground before them, PAID managers are ready to make a difference. “Compared to other NGOs, we want to provide support, which other NGOs did not do. We want to support, by training, supervising and financing. Even the mother who does not know how to say a word in French, we are willing to listen to her in patois and we put her project in a document that we call the business plan,” promised Mr. Eyenga.

National coordinator of PAID Togo, the Togolese branch of PAID International, Zoukéléni Nassiki, is very enthusiastic about the happiness that the NGO PAID intends to bring to populations in financial difficulty to realize their projects. “It is quite simply happiness that surprises us in Togo, a powerful instrument that responds to the development challenges of communities in Togo,” he maintained. Like an ordinary citizen who discovers gold and calls on his compatriots to come and enjoy it together with him, Mr. Nassiki launched a fraternal appeal : “All we ask of the Togolese is to join us in the great PAID family, especially project leaders. PAID is innovation, it is support, training, capacity building for project leaders, PAID works to improve the well-being of project leaders. It is therefore the happiness that surprises us and which is part of the logic of the social mandate of the Head of State.”

The NGO is located in Lomé in the Totsi district, behind the Nations pharmacy, in the heart of Lomé.

Note that all sectors of activity are the target of PAID Togo, even if various activities in the agricultural field (70%) and others have already been the first beneficiaries. Created in Cameroon in October 2019, PAID is currently present in several countries, of which PAID is already present in the Central African Republic, Gabon, Democratic Congo, Congo Brazza, Benin, and Chad. It is therefore this big family that Togo joins.
