Another robbery in Lomé, millions would be taken away

New year, and Togo is already returning to armed robberies. At least this is what we can say to learn from our colleagues from La Une Togo and L’Integral, the robbery which allegedly took place yesterday Wednesday January 10, 2024, in Lomé, on the road to the Ibis hotel on the way to towards the border of Ghana.

It is reported that the loot taken would be around 39 million CFA francs. If the robbers used their weapons to operate, firing shots, there would be no loss of human life.

The police and security forces will only arrive on the scene after the criminals have left.
